Fall is here

Summer is has gone and Fall has arrived!

We Chicagoans know that the days ahead can be filled with cold, gray days, but we should take certain precautions regarding UV rays.

First, make sure you are using sunscreen on a daily basis, even if it's not a sunny day.  It's best to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen, meaning one that protects from both UVA and UVB rays.

Usually physical sunscreens are more effective than chemical sunscreens, so choose a sunscreen that contains either zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.

So go ahead and enjoy the beautiful fall leaves, but be prepared and protect your skin!
